TEAM OAKES CONTINUES WIN STREAK WITH HALEY RACKING UP MORE VICTORIES

Lockport, NY: Haley Oakes won for the fourth time in five weeks at Ransomville Speedway on Thursday, June 26 in the Original Pizza Logs, Jegs.com sponsored Go Kart in the Junior II class. Haley lead all 15 laps despite hard challenges from Brad Duhow who finished a close second. Austin Oakes came home with a very strong fourth place finish. Team Oakes would also like to thank Mac Limousine Company, Scapelliti's Super Store, Bob Mason's Service Center, Rudolph Race Engines and Mark Southcott from www.nyracezone.com for all of their help and support so far this year.

The Thursday, June 19 Ransomville Speedway Go Kart show was rained out.

Haley and Austin Oakes of Lockport, NY finished first and second on Thursday, June 12 during the Junior II Go Kart race at Ransomville Speedway. Haley started second and Austin fourth. At the wave of the green flag Haley moved into the lead and Austin followed her putting himself into the second spot. Austin put the pressure on his sister with two laps to go, but Haley was able to hold on for the win with Austin coming home in second. This was Haley's third win in the last four races at the Little “R”, and Austin has two second place finishes in back to back races there. Haley is now in the points lead and Austin is just eight points out of third place. Team Oakes will be back at Ransomville on June 19. Racing starts at 6:30 p.m. Come out and watch Team Oakes along with over sixty of the finest Go Kart racers in the area.
