TEAM OAKES TAKES GO KART CHECKERED TWICE IN ONE WEEK

Lockport, NY's Haley Oakes took first in Ransomville Speedway Go Kart action on Thursday night, May 22, and at Waterloo Speedway on Saturday night, May 24, in the Junior II class. Haley led the entire sixteen laps after taking the lead during the first lap at Waterloo. Haley's brother Austin was running in second at Waterloo, but a late spin caused him to finish in third. At Ransomville Haley took the lead on lap seven and held it for the remainder of the race with Austin finishing fourth. Haley is currently tied for first place in points for Junior II at Ransomville with James Moll; Austin is fifth in points. Their next scheduled race is Thursday, May 29 at Ransomville Speedway with racing starting at 6:30pm.
