SPENCER SPEEDWAY'S OUTDOOR STOCK CAR SHOW ARRIVES ON APRIL 28

Elmgrove United Methodist Church in Gates will be hosting a stock car show on Saturday, April 28th. The show will feature drivers from Spencer Speedway. The primary purpose of the show is to give the general public an opportunity to meet the drivers and see their cars up close. Spencer Speedway has historically provided the best racing in western New York. The 2007 race season will be no different. Each track race class will be represented at the show. These classes are NASCAR Modifieds, SST Modifieds, Street Stocks, Super 6’s and the Legends racing series. The following drivers will represent their respective race class.

Jan Leaty (Modified) - is a Race of Champions Hall of Fame driver who drives the #6 racer. Jan has a very impressive racing resume that includes being the 1990 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series (formally known as the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series) champion.

Buck Catalano (Modified) - has the most total wins at Spencer Speedway with one hundred and twenty-five. Buck has also won two NASCAR regional titles and eight Spencer titles.

These drivers will be present with their race cars. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet the drivers, get some great photos and learn about the exciting racing at Spencer Speedway. In addition, Mark “Captain History” Southcott will be representing the FOAR SCORE Club. He will also have many vintage racing photos for sale.

This show is FREE. The Williamson Food Pantry will benefit from this show through your donations. All are welcome. The show hours are from 12 to 3 PM. Elmgrove United Methodist Church is located on 1500 Spencerport Road in the Town of Gates.
