WCIS PLANS SPRING REGISTRATION AND INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR RACERS
Perry, NY: As the weather warms up and the snow begins to melt, the competitive spirit begins to bloom. Fueled by horsepower and checkered flags, teams build their machines to compete at the 1/3 mile, asphalt BullRing of Wyoming County International Speedway. The Perry Motorsports facility will be celebrating their 48th Opening Day beginning Sunday May 20th, 2007. Throughout the summer season fans can enjoy several venues of racing action on a couple days of the week.
Beginning July 6th, the ‘main event’ stockcar program moves to Friday nights issuing in a new era of nighttime Summer entertainment, the tail gate party begins at 6pm ‘til 7pm with food and beer discounts all summer long. The racing action will then being at 7:30. Scale racecars continue on Sundays for casual race activity.
Labor Day weekend, WCIS hosts the Coca Cola 100 SST Modified Tour…weekend camping, music, and racing welcomes the ‘main event’ back to Sunday afternoons for the Fall!
For those interested in participating as a crew member or driver, stop by our Spring Driver’s Registration and Informational meeting on Sunday March 25th at the Valley View Bowling Lanes Rte. 20A, Warsaw, the gathering will begin at 1pm with General information and conversation. Food will be provided by WCIS and the Bristol Race will be on the big screen. Bring along your bowling ball or simply use one from the lanes to test your skills…or lack of…against your racing competitors. BullRing Bowling begins at 3pm for fans, family, or racers.
