LANCASTER 2007 PLANS

 
Lancaster Raceway Park is in the final stages of finishing a complete schedule for the 2007 stock car and drag racing season. As of now, we will begin racing in late April/early May and run through late September/early October. Sunday Niagara has been scheduled for for August 10-12, and the U.S. Open has been scheduled for September 28-30. Many special shows and specials are secured including Robosaurus on July 14, Monster Trucks, Extreme Motorcycle Show, Supercharged Warriors, Supercharged Thunder, Nitro and Jet Cars, Kumho Street Warz and quite a few surprises.

Late Models, SST Modifieds, Super Stocks and the ever growing Street Stock class will be running throughout the season with several specials scheduled for all divisions.

THE MODIFIEDS ARE SCHEDULED FOR 4 TO 8 RACES AT THIS TIME INCLUDING TWO RoC RACES. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR OTHER AREA TRACKS TO FINALIZE THEIR SCHEDULES AND TO GET A BETTER IDEA ON CAR COUNTS BEFORE WE CAN SCHEDULE ANY MORE RACES FOR ALL CLASSES. ALL CLASSES WILL BE COMPETING FOR POINTS AND WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN END OF THE YEAR POINT FUND.

FINISHING TOUCHES ARE ALSO BEING MADE FOR PURSES, PIT PAD RENTALS AND FEES. WE ARE TARGETING THE WEEK OF JAN. 21ST FOR COMPLETION OF OUR SCHEDULE. AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE, MORE INFO WILL BE POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE, WWW.LANCASTERRACING.COM.

After the great success and fun at the 1st Annual Turkey Trot held in November, we are considering starting a 4 Cylinder class. Anyone with interest is asked to call the track for input.

Our annual Kickoff Party has been scheduled for Sunday, February 25 at the Lancaster Moose Lodge located at 5437 Broadway from 1-5 PM. Notification will be mailed out. Complimentary pizza, wings and draft beer will be served along with a cash bar.
