2006 LANCASTER RACEWAY PARK U.S. OPEN LAP MONEY PROGRAM

It’s that time of year again!! Time for the Lap Money Programs for Lancaster Raceway Park’s season ending US Open, which is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 23rd and 24th.

The Lap Money Program is run according to the “Lucky 15” format, where any of the drivers running in the top 15 positions are eligible for lap money. Random positions 1-15 will be drawn for each lap prior to the racing action. 100% OF THE LAP MONEY IS DISTRIBUTED BACK TO THE DRIVERS!

Laps are just $25 per lap (minimum - more money can be placed on individual laps if desired) for the Glen Campbell Chevy Street Stock 30 Lap Feature, Jerry Gradl Motors Super Stock 30 Lap Feature, SST Sportsman 75 Lap Feature, and the MAARA Bobcat of Buffalo Late Model 100 Lap Feature.

Lap Program Rules & Guidelines

* The program is run according to a “Lucky 15” format, whereas running positions 1-15 are randomly drawn for each lap prior to the feature race. Positions for each lap are drawn in the LRP Tech Barn by the lap coordinators.

* Laps are a minimum of $25 per lap and 100% of the money collected is returned to the drivers.

* All Lap Money positions are determined on the track. That is if anyone is disqualified, the scoring sheets will not be consulted to determine who was in the next position on any particular lap the disqualified person may have won money on.
* If anyone is disqualified, the lap money that they would have received will be given to the cars in the back of the finishing order. If the disqualified car(s) had only won one lap, the money will be given to the last place finisher. If the car(s) have won more than one lap, the money will be distributed evenly to the last five finishers.
* The decisions of the lap program coordinators are final and binding. Lap coordinators are Lori Overdorf, Dave Buchanan and Andy Ticco.

* The Street Stock, Super Stock, SST Sportsman, & Late Model Lap Money Programs are run independently and run in conjunction with Lancaster Raceway Park.

The Lap Money Program is a great, affordable way to get involved with Lancaster Raceway Park racing and to help support your favorite division and drivers. If you are interested or would like some more information, please contact:
