Merv was inducted into the Race of Champions Hall of Fame in 1985, the FOAR Score Hall of Fame in 1990, the DIRT Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1994 and the NYSSCA (New York State Stock Car Association) Hall of Fame in 2007. Roger and Gordy Treichler were his cousins. He ran a Lancaster T.Q. Midget #0 to a top 5 feature finish in 1969. |
