He's scheduled to make his Modified debut in the DeLange #45 on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with a six race schedule for that series in that ride including Spencer Speedway's NASCAR WMT event and probably New Hampshire International Speedway. He will continue driving the SST #45 with a change from the #12 at tracks. He's also driving a dirt Modified Midget (NYMM Series). His schedule includes around 30 races for the season. |

His grandfather Jim was the 1974 Spencer Modified champion with #72. His father Charlie won three Lancaster Modified titles with #12,72 along with being a Ransomville Modified champion and the 1986 Mr. DIRT Modified champion with #72. Charlie also ran NASCAR Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) events in '87-'88 plus the NASCAR Modified Tour in the early '90s. Jim and Charlie were both inducted into the FOAR SCORE Hall of Fame.
Erick began his racing career in Go-Karts. |
