Mike returned to active racing for the first time in almost a decade; his last appearance on August 7, 1993 saw him vaulting the Lancaster backstretch wall and hitting a pole.
He was Lancaster's 2001 Race Director. Mike has also competed at Oswego, Spencer, Cayuga, and Lake Erie.
Mike started racing in 1974 at Holland and has raced the Charger, Limited Modified, and Late Model classes there. Mike was a crewman on
Bill Torrisi's #65 car and used his number when he started racing. |
